Crowther Hires New Business Development Manager

Meet Kendrick Turner

Kendrick Turner joins The Crowther Group as our Business Development Manager, bringing in over 15 years of experience in sales and client relationship management. With a strong background in strategic partnerships, Kendrick is passionate about creating meaningful connections that drive growth and deliver exceptional value to our clients. In this role, Kendrick will focus on expanding our network, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that every project reflects our commitment to excellence and community impact. He believes that building relationships is just as important as building structures—and works tirelessly to align client goals with innovative solutions. Outside of work, Kendrick enjoys spending time with his family, watching sporting events, fishing, volunteering, industry networking, and traveling, and is excited to contribute to The Crowther Group’s mission of living, working, and serving where we build.

What inspired you to pursue a career in construction and business development?

I’m inspired about business development in the construction industry because it’s more than building structures—it’s about building communities. Every project is an opportunity to create spaces that provide safety, inspire growth, and empower people to achieve their aspirations. Seeing the impact—whether through a child motivated by new facilities or the joy at a community event—reminds me that our work goes beyond the physical presence. It’s about making a lasting difference in the communities in which we build.

What’s your favorite part about working in business development?

Business Development Manager in the construction industry, passionate about building more than projects—I build relationships. For me, success isn’t just measured in growth metrics; it’s about creating meaningful connections that stand the test of time. I thrive on collaboration, trust, and delivering value that goes beyond the contract. My goal is to help partners and clients achieve sustainable success through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

What will your main focus be in this new role?

My focus in this new role will be to implement strategies for identifying and securing new partnerships, coming up with best practices for maintaining existing relationships, creating templates for outreach emails or partnership proposals, and creating KPI’s to measure partnership success(audits)

How do you plan to build strong relationships with clients and partners?

My plan to build strong relationships with clients and partners will be through event engagement, strategically joining organizations, hosting events, and tools to establish a strong follow-up system.

 What excites you most about joining our team?

What excites me most about joining The Crowther Group is the family-oriented culture I’ve observed over the past few years while researching this incredible company. I’ve always aspired to be part of a team that not only strives for organic growth but also remains deeply connected to the community it serves. I firmly believe that a team united under one mindset, guided by a visionary leader, and driven by a strong work ethic is a team destined to win. One fun fact about me that people might not know is that I was born and raised in Texas, but I am not a Dallas Cowboys fan. Fly Eagles Fly!
